Coding and Robotics

Papago's Signature program is Coding and Robotics. All Kindergarten through eighth grade students receive special targeted instruction in this important Computer Science at least once per week. Students write and manipulate code online, program robots and other external devices, print to 3-D printers, and even program drones for recorded flight and missions around campus.

Students are encouraged to use our computer and tablet devices to engage in coding language development, and to share the logic, craftsmanship, and communication that is inherent in writing code.

Papago has formed important partnerships with our local high schools including Phoenix Coding Academy and Bioscience High School to encourage our students to pursue advanced education and careers in Computer Science.
